Does Lupine bill my insurance company or Medicare for their services? We are a privately funded company that does not have any affiliation with any company, organization or facility and our services are not covered by insurance. Medicare does not cover care management services.
Where do you provide care management services? We can provide care management services in Oregon and Washington. We are members of the Case Managers Society of America, so we are affiliated with a network of professional case managers nation wide, so give us a call and we would be happy to help you find a care manager that can help you.
What if I help at night or on the weekend? We are available for emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days.
How does Lupine bill? Our services are billed on a monthly basis, on the last day of each month. Our billing is in 10, 15, 30, 45 and 60-minute increments.
What is a care manager? A care manager is skilled and resourceful in arranging services for chronic and acute needs. They have the knowledge to individually customize a plan for the benefit of the client and monitor the ongoing care. Do nursing homes pay Lupine for placing their clients in facilities? No, we are paid by the responsible party for our clients and do not accept any payment from any care facility for placement.
What happens if Lupine finds a family member or advocate who is not taking care of an elderly or disabled client? We are mandated to report any signs of abuse or mistreatment to either the police and or Aging/Disability Services Division. Lupine Case Management believes in credibility, integrity and will advocate for our client's safety and well being. |
